The mission of the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department exists to provide professional and diverse leisure opportunities through inclusive programs, facilities, parks, and open space, ensuring that Greensboro is a desirable place to work, live, and play.  The Staff Appreciation Committee was created with the goal of making our staff feel appreciated and motivated. As you know, feeling appreciated is the top motivator for employees to do great work. When we are successful we foster an environment where our employees’ commitment to public service increases thus making a larger difference in the lives of our residents. We accomplish this by recognizing excellent work through raffle prizes, random giveaways and other small tokens of our thanks. The Staff Appreciation Committee is seeking donations to help with these efforts, and we need your help to make this a reality.
