On behalf of the Alpha-1 Foundation, we invite you to be a part of our annual event, the 2022 Hybrid Alpha-1 National Conference. This year’s hybrid event will be held from June 8-11, 2022.

We would like to enlist your support of the Alpha-1 Foundation’s ongoing efforts in continuing its mission to provide finding a cure for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency and to improving the lives of people affected by Alpha-1 worldwide. Alpha-1 is a hereditary condition that is passed from parents to their children through genes. This condition may result in serious lung and/or liver disease at various ages in life and is the leading genetic cause of liver transplant in babies and children.

We would be extremely grateful if you would support the Foundation’s work by providing us with a donated item of your choosing to be featured on the online silent auction platform in conjunction with the 2022 Hybrid Alpha-1 National Conference. This event is the largest gathering of Alphas worldwide and we expect to have approximately 2,000 guests participate. They will include Alpha-1 patients, family members, and caregivers from across the country. Joining them will be prominent physicians, nurses, and medical professionals in the community.

Why should you help support this rare disease? More and more people are being diagnosed with Alpha-1 each year because of the awareness that is being generated though the Foundation. The Alpha-1 Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization (ID# 65-0585415) and proceeds raised at this event will directly benefit patients and will directly impact lives.
