On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the Alta Vista Public School in Ottawa will be holding our annual Spring Fair and Silent Auction, which our largest community fundraising event, drawing hundreds of families and community members to the school for fun activities, games and treats.

This event is organized by the Alta Vista School Council, an advisory body made up of parent volunteers who work together with the principal and teacher representatives at Alta Vista Public School to improve the school experience for all students and their families. Financial support provided through our fundraising efforts is focused on providing enhancements to the school experience and ensuring all students have equal access to all programs and activities at school.

As such, all funds raised at the Spring Fair and Silent Auction are invested back into our school to help provide for enhancements to educational, arts and athletic programing for all students. Funds raised are also used to provide opportunities for students to experience enriching activities such as dance, sport and mindfulness programs, community speakers and performances. We are seeking donations for our Silent Auction to help us to continue to provide this support.
