On Friday, April 28, 2023, Albion Fellows Bacon Center will host An Evening of Hope: Under the Stars to bring our community together as we raise awareness of sexual and domestic violence. The 2022 40th Anniversary Ruby Gala raised over $50,000 to support our mission.

Thousands of individuals take the brave step to seek our services each year, and it is thanks, in part to individuals and businesses, like yours that we may continue to do so both free of charge and confidentially.  Additionally, our agency and staff does not discriminate based on gender, age, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or religion, and clients may include victims of stalking and human trafficking.

In 2021, the following individuals took advantage of the programs and services provided by Albion Fellows Bacon Center:

• The Shelter Program provided 3,567 nights of safe shelter to 157 adults and 108 children (145 duplicated adults and children). As an emergency shelter, individuals and their children may stay with us for up to 45 days.

• Calls to our two 24-hour crisis lines totaled 8,731, and 599 individuals requested shelter.

• The Non-Residential Programs assisted 2,838 (1,411 unduplicated) primary and secondary clients throughout our eleven county service area (Vanderburgh, Warrick, Spencer, Posey, Pike, Orange, Harrison, Gibson, Dubois, and Crawford). Of these clients, 967 (759 unduplicated) had multiple victimizations.

With 300+ attendees anticipated at Bally’s Evansville, we hope that you consider joining us and contribute either to our live and silent auctions, gift card frenzy, or by sponsoring a table of 8 ($1,000).  Know that all participating businesses and sponsors will be listed on Albion’s website, social media, and the evening’s digital presentation. 

All proceeds will benefit the individuals that we serve daily, providing survivors of sexual and domestic violence with the opportunity to feel safe, respected, and heard.
