The Lisbon United Methodist Church hold a yearly Christmas Fair and Silent Auction. The proceeds from this event will be used as part of the operating budget for the chuch which includes assisting with our many missisions and ministries within the community and world. Locally, we have assisted the food and clothing bank, homeless families within the school system, provided free meals to any one that needs one, toys for Tots, heating assistance, assisting teachers with much needed school supplies, providing items for the student pantry, and providing items to a local alzheimer's facility. Worldwide we support the American Red Cross, just recently held a blood drive, provided hygiene kits to girls in Haiti, provide cleaning buckets to recent flood victims to name a few of our missions. Along with many others our church is making a committment to help others througout the world and this event is one of the wyas we are working to fulfill this goal.
