Jones Beach Power Squadron is a volunteer organization that is dedicated to making boating safer on our local waterways for all boaters.  We provide various community services that enhance the boating experience and make this recreational activity safer.  We provide educational courses taught by certified instructors, complimentary vessel safety checks and a cooperative charting program conducted with NOAA and the U. S. Coast Guard.  We purchase the educational materials needed to teach the courses.  These programs ensure that boaters have appropriate safety equipment on board and that local area navigational charts are kept up to date, thus making our waterways and the vessels using them safer.  

     On February 3, 2024 we are having our Annual Anniversary Commander's Dinner Dance and it is our custom to raffle off items donated by merchants, who we patronize during the year.  Please help us continue to provide these free services to our community by donating a gift.

     A certificate of appreciation will be mailed to you, and you will be recognized not only at our raffle but also in our monthly newsletter, which reaches over 200 people in the local area.  

     We are a non-profit 501c.3 organization and your donations are tax deductible.
