Annual Education Conference
Meeting/Networking for National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc.May 15, 2021 9:00 AM to May 16, 2021 12:00 PM
The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc. (NAJA) was founded over 80 years ago on the principles of helping children and making a difference in their lives. NAJA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support, resources, and specialized training to our members so they may better serve their communities. Each Chapter determines its own projects based on the needs of its community. Chapter conduct a community survey to determine needs and designs projects to fill those needs. There are nearly 100 NAJA Chapters and over 15,000 members serving their communities in 7 states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee). Last year our Chapters served over 200,000 children and families in their communities.
Each year NAJA hosts its Annual Education Conference to train and motivate our volunteers. The conference provides workshops, motivational speakers, and networking opportunities for our volunteers. This year the confernce will have both in-person attendees and virtual attendees. We expect 350 in-person attendees and they will receive a gift bag. There will also be at least another 300 virtual attendees.
During the conference, we host a raffle to raise funds to award grants to our Chapters to help with their service projects as well as to pay for operational expenses.
