Dear Community Partner,

During the week of June 2 - June 8, Sarah's House, Anne Arundel County’s emergency shelter and supportive housing program, will be hosting our anniversary fundraiser celebrating 38 years of serving families and individuals experiencing homelessness. This event will take place virtually on our Friends of Sarah's House Facebook page. While last year’s fundraiser proved to be a great success in raising over $25,000, we are fully confident that with your continued help, 2025 will prove to be our best year ever.

There are several ways to support the fundraiser, including sponsorship, silent auction donations, and spreading the word to your family and friends!  One hundred percent of funds raised from this anniversary fundraiser will help to provide shelter, meals, case management, and other supportive services for up to 125 clients each day, about half of whom are children.

Thanks in large part to your support, for calendar year 2024 we were able to accomplish the following:

-       Served 349 clients (159 of whom were children)

-       Provided intensive case management support to 190 adults

-       Helped 78% of those who exited shelter transition to permanent housing opportunities

Beyond the numbers, these are lives that have been transformed. But the work is not easy, and Sarah’s House cannot do this alone. We welcome your partnership in our upcoming anniversary fundraiser as together we continue our mission of providing care and services to improve the lives of Marylanders in need.
