The May Fair and Raffle is our largest event of the year with over 300 members of the school community, including students, teachers, parents, and alumni, in attendance.  

We may be the smallest school in the Berkeley school district, but we are a strong community that pulls together every year to support essential programming such as language specialists, the library program, classes such as gardening, PE, and dance, as well as teacher grants. We also value equity and work hard to ensure all students are able to fully participate in the activities the school offers, whether it’s school supplies, a Halloween costume, or the cost of a field trip. On average, the PTA fundraises and spends approximately $850 per student to ensure each kid is able to fully participate and thrive.

The annual May Fair is our end of year celebration where we bring together the community for a fun evening of food, games, and prizes. Not only is it a chance for our students and families to connect with one another, but it is also one of our largest fundraising events. Students compete to sell tickets in order to win prizes but also recognition for their contributions to the school.
