The City of Vacaville’s Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Program was designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. By focusing on ability rather than disability, we create an environment of inclusion and acceptance. The TR program strives to remove barriers, provide accommodation, and increase independence and confidence, in a safe and supervised setting. Through the use of community resources in a therapeutic manner, individuals will receive opportunities for education, skill development, and community integration. 

As you know, our TR Program has been making an annual trip to the Six Flags Holiday in the Park event since 2019. We do our best to continually help participants get out and engage in socialization and community activities. The TR Program’s main goal is to help our participants improve their overall quality of life.

Ideally, we try to keep our program offerings at little to no cost for participants. We have truly appreciated the tickets we have received from your donation department in the past. With that being said, we would love to continue a mutually beneficial partnership with you. Our program would greatly benefit from donations, discounts, or any level of sponsorship that you are able to offer. In return, we would love to promote Six Flags on our city website and social media platforms.
