The City of Vacaville’s Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Program was designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. By focusing on ability rather than disability, we create an environment of inclusion and acceptance. The TR program strives to remove barriers, provide accommodation, and increase independence and confidence, in a safe and supervised setting. Through the use of community resources in a therapeutic manner, individuals will receive opportunities for education, skill development, and community integration.
