The Bridge: A School/Community Partnership is a non-profit organization that places volunteers in the Melrose Public Schools. Bridge volunteers enrich teaching and learning for students from preschool through high school. Some volunteers offer just an hour or two during the school year, while others give countless hours to their schools and school communities. Our view is that each and every one of these contributions are powerful - bringing a diversity of culture, skills, experience, and perspective.

The Annual Trivia Bee & Silent Auction is The Bridge’s largest fundraiser, and provides the vast majority of the community’s portion of the operating budget for The Bridge. It allows The Bridge to continue all of these functions and provides the means for us to find new ways to serve our schools and community.  This year's trivia event will be virtual again, and we expect somewhere between 200 and 300 participants and spectators. In addition, we are able to target a larger audience for our silent auction which runs the week following the trivia bee.  Sponsors will be thanked at the event, in our social media, and via print media throughout both activities. All sponsors will also be thanked in our email newsletter that goes to our 2000+ person mailing list.
