We are hosting a volunteer appreciation party on August 29, 2023 at Daniels Spectrum to acknowledge the wonderful work of our Arts in the Parks volunteers. Supported by the City of Toronto, Arts in the Parks brings high-quality arts programming to parks across Toronto for free. This year’s Arts in the Parks programming was launched on June 2nd and will ensure that all Toronto residents will have access to the transformative benefits of the arts throughout the summer.

Volunteers are an integral part of the initiative which, last year, supported a total of 380 events, in 34 parks, involving 913 artists, and attended by nearly 69,000 people. All Arts in the Parks events are family-friendly and primarily targeted at underserved communities in Toronto, ensuring that every community member has access to the transformative benefits of the arts.

Donations of prize items would boost our wonderful volunteers’ motivation and encourage them to come back as volunteers in the future. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our meaningful cause and the continuation of Arts in the Parks.
