Description

Autumn Online Auction: “Vegas Values” is a fundraiser through BetterWorld.org for the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas.  We provide underwriting for many projects cut from the state budget that benefit our children and adults in the community of Las Vegas and Clark County, such as:

Educational programming (ex.Museum in a Box program which are mini-museums delivered free to any Clark County school by request, highschool and UNLV intern honorariums, Discovery Saturdays (STEAM projects for children/adults),

Exhibitions (ex. Paul R. Williams/Architect, Liberace, The Old Spanish Trail Exhibition opening Nov. 15),

Events (ex. Dino Daysa, Butterflies and Birds, Fossil Factory, Make it-Take it)

Community outreach projects (ex. free museum memberships, monthly speakers on a variety of subjects, author book signings, craft classes, underwriting Curator outreach lectures/visits)

Museum support (ex. purchase of taxidermy specimens, archival mannequins, archival supplies and books for the Museum library, permanent gallery artifacts etc.)

We are able to offer our sponsors one year of advertising on our website (NSMLV.org), Facebook (www.facebook.com/nsmlv.org), monthly newsletters, and on our TV monitor in the museum lobby, as well as on any auction advertising flyers/media.  Additionally, as our events and fundraising are advertised via the State Museums' website, we receive out of the area notoriety.

Your support in the way of gift cards, tickets, passes, vouchers, merchandise, swag etc. would be greatly appreciated for the online bidding process.

Many thanks for your consideration.
