We are hosting 2nd annual AVID Family STEM Night giving our students and their families exposure to STEM information and activities. 

A componet of the event is a fundraising raffle to help PTA support our students further through the school year.

One of Rio Vista PTA's primary goals this schol year is to organize and implement meaningful,educational and fun family friendly engagment oportunities for our students and their families.  This event is inspired by school administration and its our passion to tackle the inequity of to access of STEM related education and activites. Due the socioeconomic status of the majority of our students, they have historially had fewer oppourunites than other school communities. We strive to cultiviate a greater passion for STEM amoung our youth and help create a new generation of critical thinkers and innovators.
