Description

As we near the conclusion of the present academic year and gear up for the upcoming one, we are coordinating a range of activities. Among these initiatives is a Back-to-School Bash, which will Include a silent auction and raffles. Additionally, we aim to provide backpacks and school supplies for all 1600+ of our enrolled students. I am reaching out to seek your kind-hearted contribution to our school district in form of any donation for our silent auction/raffle.

Our goal is to provide cost free resources for our students and families.

Allow me to provide some insight into Southwest Public Schools, a distinguished district committed to meeting the diverse needs of all students by fostering an inclusive community that nurtures self-worth. Our belief in the capacity of every student to learn is underlined by the provision of a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and adaptable educational environment. We view education as a collective responsibility of the community. Our primary goal is to cultivate adept, knowledgeable, and well-equipped individuals capable of navigating the cultural, intellectual, and social complexities of a dynamic world. Our mission is to equip students for postsecondary success, and your contribution is vital in realizing their aspirations.

From humble beginnings with 250 students over two decades ago, Southwest Public Schools now serves a student body exceeding 1,600 from Houston and neighboring areas. We cater to students aged 3 to 18 across two elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school, while extending educational services to residential treatment facilities in the greater Houston region. Within our demographic, 87% of students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our students often lack sufficient resources, and our collaborations with local entities are instrumental. Your support, both financial and in kind, has been invaluable in providing essentials such as shelter, clothing, school supplies, and services. Recognizing your shared dedication to community service, we kindly request a donation from your company to support our students and their families. Such partnerships enable us to give back and facilitate our students in shaping their futures and contributing to the community.

In recognition of your support, we offer various avenues for promoting your organization:

o    Showcasing your mission and vision to community members

o    Acknowledgment on our website as a proud sponsor of Southwest Public Schools

o    Displaying your sponsorship/partnership at our community events

o    Involving volunteers at your functions, allowing students to accrue community service hours for the National Honor Society

I am enthusiastic about the prospect of collaborating for the benefit of our students and families. Thank you for considering our request, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work together.

Yours sincerely,
