Description

Dear Community Member:
I’m a board member of the John Paul II Polish Language School in Walnut Creek, and I’m
writing to ask if you can make a donation to our annual fundraiser – the Barborka Ball
Dinner and Dance with Silent Auction – which will take place November 20th, 2021 in
San Ramon. At this event, we auction off gift cards, merchandise, and services generously
donated by businesses like yours. All proceeds from the event will directly support and
enhance the educational programs in our school.

Our school typically enrolls about 150 pre-K through high school students from around the
Bay Area. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID 23-7012816) and our
funding depends on tuition and financial support from our local community and businesses.

Our school adapted to this unprecedented past year by shifting to a distance learning
model, and we are excited to resume in-person classes this fall. We recognize that the
pandemic has been financially difficult for many businesses, and truly appreciate any
support your company can provide.
If you can support our school with a (tax-deductible) donation, your business will be
recognized in promotional materials for the event, and on auction displays.
The faculty, parents, and especially the students, thank you in advance for your generosity!

Warm regards,
Anna Lee
