The attendees at the Be The Light Gala include committed medical, business and community leaders who share the vision of Children's Surgery International to reduce global health care disparities by helping communities obtain the knowledge, skills and tools to provide life-changing surgical and medial care for children.

Children's Surgery International is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization focused on strengthening communities by providing medical education and training for health care workers and free surgical services to children around the world. Our volunteer surgical teams have traveled to Haiti, Liberia, Ghana, Mexico, Peru, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Vietnam, where people with limited resources may be denied even the most basic medical care.
