We are one of the oldest and largest animal welfare organizations in the Midwest and will be holding our Better Together Gala will be held at Eagle Brook Country Club in Geneva, Friday, April 26, 2024. We expect 300 attendees and proceeds will directly support Anderson Humane’s rescue efforts for domestic and wild animals, as well as our human services programs. Our 2024 Better Together Gala: Animals In Translation Guest Speaker is renowned animal scientist, Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Grandin will draw upon her long, distinguished career as an animal scientist and her own experiences with autism to deliver an extraordinary message about how animals act, think, and feel. 

We are looking for items for both our silent and live auctions. All auction donations are acknowledged on our event auction page (please see our digital reach below) and have "night of" event presence. Live auction items are promoted heavily through pre-event & onsite marketing and acknowledged by our live auctioneer while supporting images are displayed on our main stage.

• Rescued 4500+ domestic animals
• Rescued 3000+ wild animals
• Rescued almost 200 Beagles from the Envigo testing facility-the 3rd largest Envigo rescue in the nation
• Served over 900 clients through our Healing Paws therapy program
• Enabled 48 clients to care for and retain custody of their pets through our Constant Companions program
• Provided emergency animal refuge for 22 clients
• Partnered with over 38 shelters across the country to save animals from other states
• Worked alongside Petco LOVE, ASPCA & Dog Is My Co-Pilot to save 20 dogs flown into Chicago on an international rescue mission
• Saved dogs through partnership with the HSUS (partnered to intake Korean Meat trade rescues)
