North Star Family Services is an emergency shelter that is in operation 365 days per year, around the clock to serve homeless families.  The program provides shelter, meals, clothing, intensive case management, and educational training to help families get back on their feet.  A small staff and hundreds of volunteers make it possible to help the most vulnerable families in our community. The shelter can only stay open to provide these vital services through the good graces of private donations, fundraising, grants, and corporate donations.
