Description
This Fall, AAP-CA3 will hold its Books on the Bay Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, October 26th, at The Dana on Mission Bay. This adult event will include a social hour, live music, Polynesian dancers, and dinner as well as a live and silent auction. All proceeds benefit AAP-CA3’s early literacy program, Reach Out and Read San Diego.
Last year Reach Out and Read San Diego (RORSD, www.rorsd.org ), distributed over 160,000 books to children ages 0 to 5 along with critical reading advice to parents. Since 2006, we have given out over 2 million books at 113 pediatric offices throughout San Diego & Imperial Counties! Our evidence-based model improves language and early literacy preparing children for kindergarten.
