Asside from a giving campaign in the fall, this event is a main fundraising event for the Copperas Cove Education Foundation. The funds raised allows the Foundation to provide Innovative Teaching Grants and scholarships to well deserving students.

The event includes dinner, dancing, a program that includes the induction of Copperas Cove Alumni into a Hall of Fame, and live/silent auctions. The items for the auctions are donated by organizations and individuals. Smaller items are usually combinded with like items to create a basket for the silent auction. Larger items and stand alone items are used for either the silent or live auction. Attendees will be served appetizers and dinner. Dancing, a photo booth, and games will be a part of the entertainment for the evening. This is a BOYD event.
