The mission of the Copperas Cove Education Foundation is to enrich and enhance educational opportunities for Copperas Cove students through community involvement and support. The goals of the Foundation include: promote a high-level of academic development, provide multiple opportunities for student success, encourage school/staff innovation, and expand community and school relations.

The Copperas Cove Education Foundation raises funds for Innovative Teaching Grants, student scholarships, and to recognize high achieving students and their teachers at a banquet. Since 2008, the Foundation has presented over $400,000 in grants alone. In November, the board presented $43,967 to 36 teachers and staff members in the Copperas Cove Independent School District. The types of programs that will be affected include Social and Emotional activities, Science through a range of activities that include hydroponics and aquaponics, Reading and Writing, Art, and Technology to name just a few. More than two thousand teachers/staff and students are directly affected through instruction or involvement in such projects; hundreds more will benefit indirectly.

Note: Funds are not used to pay the Administrative Assistant position, the local school district does this to support the Foundation.
