Bourbon & Blossoms is the signature Spring fundraising event for Maryland Therapeutic Riding. MTR is committed to improve the quality of life of children, adults, active and veteran military with special needs by connecting humans and horses in a healing environment. We offer adaptive riding, physical, speech and occupational therapies and equine-assisted psychotherapy. MTR started in 1996 with 1 horse and 1 participant and has grown to offer our services to more than 130 people weekly with over 4,500 program hours annually on our 25-acre farm in Crownsville, MD.

This event will be an evening of fun, friendship and philanthropy with a seated meal, bourbon tasting, live and silent auction and dancing the evening away to the amazing Bachelor Boys Band!

80% or more of all of our services are supplemented for our participants (100% for military through our Equine Services for Heroes scholarship). This allows us to keep the cost down for families and individuals that can benefit greatly from our services. We can only do this with the support of those in our community.
