The Bristow Music Program is unique. It is the largest middle school music program in the entire state of California and has maintained a level of excellence that is largely unmatched.

Under Mr. Morello's leadership, the Bristow Music Program has received over 10 Unanimous Superior Awards for Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band at CMEA Festivals over the last 10 years. They have received countless 1st place Awards at Music in the Park events for both Wind Ensemble and Choir and "Esprit de Corps" Awards for best overall team spirit and professionalism for the past three years. In addition to countless other performances, the Choir has performed for the NBA Kings and Warriors for many years running.

For over 20 years, on the first Wednesday of February, The Bristow Music Boosters hosts one major fundraising event to support this fantastic program that benefits over 500 music students at Bristow Middle School in Brentwood. It is an amazing evening with good food prepared by the New Mecca Mexican restaurant and great music from our award-winning Jazz Band and Choir. The evening holds live and silent auctions and countless raffle baskets, and we are constantly adding new ideas and entertainment to the fun and excitement of it all. 100% of the proceeds go to support the entire Bristow Music Program.
