This will be our 21st annual Buddy Walk of South Plainfield. The walk was created to assist with the acceptance and awareness of individuals with Down syndrome. It is an excellent place for new families to network and receive valuable information from veteran parents. Medical concerns are a significant part of families, and being able to network helps them. The walk is the place for people to feel included. We do a raffle, and funds raised are used to advocate and include individuals with Down syndrome in local sports or activities. We are trying to make the biggest impact this year as this will be the final year.
