I would like to introduce you to Creative Kids Playhouse; a 501(c)3 children’s theatre company serving our community youth, ages 3-18. Our goal is for all children to experience the joys of theatre, while also teaching valuable life skills including communication, creative problem solving, teamwork and personal accountability.
 
In order to provide this opportunity to as many children as possible, we have always offeredscholarships for merit and need. During our 2019-2020 season, we were able to provide $9,300 in scholarships. Unfortunately, during the COVID-19 pandemic, most of our productions were shut down and therefore, our normal revenue was diminished resulting in the loss of scholarships.
 
This is why we turn to you, our community partners, for your support of our 7th annual C.A.T.E. Awards (Children Achieving Theatre Excellence) this coming January 22nd, 2022. As our largest event of the year, C.A.T.E. is designed to both acknowledge our young actors and serve as anannual fundraiser.
 
Guests of CATE have the opportunity to participate in a raffle of generously donated items and experience a show consisting of a compilation of songs from the different productions performed with confidence by the actors that participated in the full production during the season. The funds raised at this event support our stage shows, school productions, summer camps, and classes. We would love your support as we continue to deliver our mission statement to every actor that participates: every child deserves a moment in the spotlight!
