Description
The Carlsbad Spirit Benefit Concert is sponsored by the Aron Gunner Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. This will be our 11th annual benefit concert. The bands and venue are donated. There will be a silent auction as well as a raffle. Since we are an all volunteer organization, we are able to keep our administrative costs to about 10%. The rest of the proceeds provide scholarships to a diverse group of college bound Carlsbad High School students.
In 2022 we awarded $26,250 in scholarships to 21 deserving seniors. This brings our total to $200,500!
