Description
The Carlsbad Spirit Benefit Concert is sponsored by the Aron Gunner Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. This will be our 12th annual benefit concert. The bands and venue are donated. There will be a silent auction as well as a raffle. Since we are an all volunteer organization, we are able to keep our administrative costs to about 10%. The rest of the proceeds provide scholarships to a diverse group of college bound Carlsbad High School students.
In 2023 we awarded $27,500 in scholarships to 22 deserving seniors. This brings our total to $227,500!
This events is very well supported by not only the Carlsbad Community, but by people and businesses throughout San Diego County.
