On May 5, 2023, Center School PTO will be holding a formal Gala to raise money to build a running track at Center School in Ellington, CT. We are hoping to fund the project in its entirety this year! We can’t do this without your help. There are many ways in which you can help, we are seeking sponsorships and/or silent and live auction donations. 

Donations, along with your business name, will be prominently displayed in our silent or live auction. You will also be featured on our event website, mobile bidding platform, and event flyer. The proceeds from this event will go directly to building the track. Center school is a small K-6th, community school in the heart of Ellington. We have about 480 students, mostly young children from Ellington, as well as the greater Hartford area. Any type or amount of donation will help to enhance the education and learning environment for our young students. Why an outdoor track? Every student at Center School will benefit from having an outdoor track. Our students currently need to run in the grass and mud for running club and P.E. class. Having a designated outdoor space for our students to run has many physical and psychological benefits. Benefits also include:
•Improved Mood & Happier Students•Enhanced Appreciation for the Outdoors through Interaction•1/3 of Center Students participate in running club.•Will help greatly in state mandated mile testing of all students•More space for a growing Center School to leverage and enjoy
