We are the Parent Teacher Organization at Chávez Elementary School in Madison, Wisconsin. The Chávez PTO is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization with a goal of successful education of our students by enhancing communication between home and school; supporting and supplementing the needs of teachers and staff; helping to meet the expectations of and overcome any challenges for the students, teachers, families, and the entire Chávez community.

We accomplish these goals through fundraising and our primary fundraising effort for this year is a Fun Fair. This event will take place on March 7, 2020 and will include games for children of all ages, food, a variety of activities and entertainment, an online auction beginning February 28, 2020 that transitions to an auction event at the Fun Fair, and a prize room. It will be an opportunity to bring our families together and celebrate as a community!

We are seeking donations for our Fun Fair and/or Online Auction, be it donations for the online auction, toys/prizes for our prize room, or gift cards/monetary donations. Any contribution would be extremely generous and appreciated! 

Should you choose to donate, your business will receive acknowledgement of appreciation along with advertising that has the potential to reach our 700 students, their families, and 100+ staff members, as well as community members that attend. The auction link will also be shared via social media by staff and parents reaching an even broader audience. Links to your website will be included on our online auction site at 32auctions.com/chavez2020. Your logo will also be displayed in several areas at the Fun Fair event for additional advertising.

We are a non-profit organization with tax exempt status under IRC Section 501 (c) (3).  Donations are tax deductible and our Tax ID number: 39-2012479.
