I am writing to you on behalf of the Chesapeake Police Foundation, an organization that is and has been committed towards community and police unity for the past 20 years. The Chesapeake Police Foundation financially assists with several annual and pilot programs among our ever growing community  from scholarships, summer camps for our communities children, Back to School Supply Give-Away's, Turkey's Instead of Tickets, Senior and Junior Police Acadamies along with the Police Explorers, a governed post ranging in ageas from 15 to 18 years of age. Our organization provides for all the travel and transportation expenses. There is no cost to our young members or their families. additionally, the Chesapeake Police Foundation provides specialized training and equipment to supplement our city's reduced resources and budget constraints to meet our community's safety and security.

Now during our tough economic times and cultural climate that we as a nation are facing, makes it difficult and challenging for the Chesapeake Police Foundation to meet those needs with out help from people and businesses like you. I am inviting your business to donate an item/gift certificate or provide a sponsorship to this year's Annual Chesapeake Police Foundation Golf Tournament on September 29, 2023 at the Chesapeake Golf Club in the City of Chesapeake.

The Chesapeake Police Foundation's golf tournament is our buggest fundraising event of the year. Your generous contribution would greatly help the Chesapeake Police Foundation top continue to support the many programs we offer our youth and our way of giving back to our beloved community.
