First Look for Charity, held the evening before the Chicago Auto Show, is one of Chicago’s top fundraisers, raising nearly $3 million annually for 18 nonprofits, Safe Families for Children being one of them. Presented by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association, this elegant event offers guests champagne, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, early access to the auto show, and a chance to win a new vehicle.

Safe Families for Children hosts our own pre-event reception at McCormick Place where we will hold a silent auction for supporters. Over 300 attendees are expected. Donation partners will be highlighted through pre-event marketing materials and communications, as well as night of event on sponsor/partner signage.

Based in Chicago, Safe Families for Children (SFFC) began out of a desire to help marginalized families and children before abuse or neglect occurs. We support primarily single parent families who are in isolation and facing crises that  lack a "natural" support system. Our model is preventative and has grown to over 100 chapters nationwide! Our goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system, and support and stabilize families.
