The Spanish Education Fund (SEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises money to support the International Teaching Intern Program at Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion School (K-5), Central Middle School (6-8), and Eden Prairie High School (9-12) in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.  We are independent and separate from our school's PTO organization and we receive no funds or support from Eden Prairie Schools.

Focused on supporting our schools' teachers, staff, and students, the SEF organization aims to fund 12-17 teaching interns from Spanish speaking countries around the world each year. This provides a unique educational resource that has been proven extremely valuable to language acquisition for our students via exposure to other cultures.  Daily instruction and cultural events hosted by the SEF prepare our students to participate in the global community through first-hand experiences with people from multiple countries.

Likewise, the SEF supports international interns dreams of teaching abroad and integrates them in American society for a school year. Our interns experience cultural immersion, language acquisition, professional development, travel opportunities, and intercultural exchanges in our classrooms. 

Our upcoming annual fundraiser, Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, is a gathering of parents, teachers, administration and our Spanish speaking interns. We are seeking in-kind donations for our silent and live auctions to be held on May 3, 2024 at Minnesota Valley Country Club.  100% of any proceeds from these auctions will go directly to the SEF. 

The Fiesta and its donors (silent auction link) will be promoted through our Social Media channels and in an emailed newsletter that reaches approximately 1500 individual addresses. The Fiesta's capacity is approximately 150-200 adults, who will be exposed to your business signage for our silent and live auctions.
