Description
This is an annual event the Youth Program hosts to bring together their families, others in the parish, and many others from the area in a safe, friendly environment. There are some food items and beverages provided; but, the attendees are also welcome to bring food and drinks to share and it has wporked very well in the past.
It is designed to let the teens see a community made up of many sorts of people all coming together peacefully and enjoying the event.
This year will be especially poignant as a teen was murdered in late February (shot in the head in a random act of violence). This year's event is designed to recoghnize the sorroe still ongoing but also show progress and recovery.
