Description
This annual event is run by the Youth Program to bring members of the community together ina fun, family-friendly event. It is a potluck that the teens organize, promote, and operate, to gain experience. The event is designed to celebrate summer and the community in a relaxed, informal way.
It is also a fundraiser as the teens discuss the youth porgram and their challenges. Attendees can make donations and there is also a silent auction.
The attendees are very diverse and come from Santa Moncia, West Los Angeles, Culver City, Inglewood, Hawthorne, and further afield. Alla ges are present as are a wide variety of cultures.
