Description

I am writing on behalf of the Georgia Adopt-A-Stream Fundraising Committee to specially invite you to participate in our 10th annual spring volunteer conference — AAS Confluence 2020 on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, March 27 -29 at Unicoi State Park & Lodge near Helen, GA.  We would like to share with you the opportunity to help make this year’s conference another success.   We would greatly appreciate a ticket donation for our silent auction.

Confluence 2020 features our volunteer awards celebration, a student and volunteer water science research poster session, and presentation and workshops offering talks ranging from technical water quality monitoring training to volunteer program development.  Your sponsorship helps support this and many other programmatic and educational opportunities at Confluence!  More information about the event can be found on the AAS Confluence web page (https://adoptastream.georgia.gov/adopt-streams-volunteer-conference).

Sponsors have the opportunity to choose between four levels of support or in-kind donations and receive recognition on the conference website and program, in our newsletter reaching over 11,000 households, exhibitor space and free registration to the conference.

Georgia Adopt-A-Stream and the Environmental Education Alliance of Georgia (www.eealliance.org) have partnered on this statewide conference to allow our sponsors to take advantage of the 501 (c) 3 status of the Alliance.  AAS Confluence offers a wonderful opportunity to showcase your business and support the steadfast volunteers helping to protect and improve Georgia’s waterways.   Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to hearing from you.
