Our most delicious event of the year, “Cookies, Cocktails, and Confections”, will take place on Thursday, November 2, at The Junior League of Austin Community Impact Center. The event will feature 6 talented Mixologists, and 6 inventive Confectioners, who will create one-of-a-kind sips and sweets inspired by Girl Scout Cookies. Teams will compete for “Austin’s Best” and “Best in Show” awards (and bragging rights!), as voted by guests and celebrity judges. We hope our third-annual event is the best ever, and we need your help to delight our 350 expected guests and raise vital funds to help Central Texas Girl Scouts aim for the stars – and reach them.

Our “Cookies, Cocktails, & Confections” fundraising goal is $80,000, including sponsorships, ticket sales, and silent auction. Funds raised will directly impact the 12,500 Central Texas Girl Scouts we serve. Though most girls participate in Girl Scouting through traditional volunteer-led troops, GSCTX’s community programs reach girls in underserved communities who would otherwise be unable to participate. Through Community Programs, GSCTX reaches between 1,700 to 2,000 girls each year who would be unable to participate in Scouting due to the geographic, socioeconomic, and emotional challenges they face each day, because of circumstances beyond their control. School-based programs address the entire K-12 progression, delivered in partnership with local schools, school districts, and other community organizations.
