Description

The 7th Annual Dealing for Duchenne - San Antonio is a charity event being held in Helotes, Texas at Pedrotti's Ranch. This event focuses on raising funds to help to save the lives of boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. All proceeds benefit CureDuchenne, a national non-profit organization who is leading the way in supporting research to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a fatal genetic disease that causes muscle degeneration in boys. Children with Duchenne are usually diagnosed by the age of 5, lose their ability to walk by the age of 12 and most don't survive their mid 20's. Duchenne knows no ethnic or social boundaries and affects 1 in 3,500 births. We are in unprecedented times as new medical research could be transformational for all these boys. CureDuchenne's mission is to save this generation of boys by making these life-saving drugs accessible in time to help this generation of Duchenne patients.
