The Eastern Vikings Band Aides, Inc. (EVBA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit parent booster group that supports the students and staff members of Eastern Regional High School’s marching band, indoor drumline, and color guard in Voorhees, NJ. Each school year, we host a Designer Bag Bingo fundraiser. This year, our event will take place on February 4, 2023 and we are seeking donations for a Basket Raffle to be held that night as well. 

All proceeds from the night are used to support the Eastern High School Marching Programs to help them remain competitive in the Tournament of Bands Atlantic Coast competition circuit. We are proud to say that Eastern consistently ranks among the top bands in that circuit, which culminates every school year in a four-day event in Wildwood, New Jersey.  Because the current school board budget does not fully meet every need of the band seasons, the EVBA uses raised funds to support an annual band camp, provide and maintain equipment, instruments, props, and uniforms, feed the band members, assure reliable transportation and - most importantly - ensure that any student who wants to participate can do so regardless of financial status. 

Our last Designer Bag Bingo event sold out and this year we expect over 250 people to attend the event. We have beautiful purses for winners of the games but we are in need of donations to create attractive raffle baskets. A gift certificate or in-kind donation from you would be greatly appreciated! For an in-kind donation, please contact us for a street address or to arrange for pick up. In exchange, in addition to our appreciation, you will get recognition on our web page, in multiple Facebook page mentions, in the program book the night of the event, in our Indoor Home Show program, and you will be recognized in a slide presentation prior to the event and during the intermission.
