Description

The year 1964 was marked by the arrival of the Beatles – Ford debuted the Mustang – we watched Jeopardy, Bewitched and Gilligan’s Island on television for the first time – and a group of parents founded Lincoln Training Center. On May 4, 2024, Lincoln Training Center (LTC) will host a very special dinner gala celebrating our 60th anniversary.

LTC has been providing jobs to adults with disabilities for more than 60 years. Community-Based Integration (CBI) is a new federal mandate to ensure that people with disabilities have access to social, educational, and professional opportunities in the community.  LTC staff provides meaningful activities in the community for 300 participants every working day of the year – that’s 260 days. Lincoln is now experiencing the highest number of people who need our services. We have more than 100 job sites, so individuals have a choice in their careers and community activities. People with disabilities get to their destinations each day by our fleet of vans; this transportation is provided at no cost to participants.
