Division Avenue High School PTSA will be hosting their Nineteenth Annual “Division Avenue Sweeps” on Friday, March 8, 2019.  This event will be held at Division Avenue High School, 120 Division Avenue, Levittown, N.Y., from 7:00PM to 10:00PM. Each year this event draws approximately 500 guests.  “Division Avenue Sweeps” is played much like Bingo, but instead of cash prizes, winners will receive prizes donated by local businesses or individuals such as yourself.  We also feature raffles of over 200 gift baskets and other larger prizes. The raffle of these baskets generates most of the proceeds of this event and often contains the gifts that have been donated by people form the community.  

 All proceeds generated by this event are awarded in the form of scholarships to all students that apply, have met specific academic standards and will be attending an institution of higher education or enlisting in the U.S. Military.  All funds are distributed equally to each student that meets those criteria. We firmly believe that all children should have the opportunity to further their education after high school and for some, this may be the only monetary award they receive. 

 In order to make this event a success and provide these awards to our students, we seek the generosity of supporters like yourself to provide donations of products, services, gift cards, tickets, etc.  No donation is too small and we gladly accept any donation you can give.  Each individual, business, organization or community member that makes a donation is acknowledged in the event program distributed to each of the over 500 participants that evening.  Every donor is also recognized in the Division Avenue High School PTSA newsletter, on our PTSA “Facebook” page and on the Levittown School District website, thereby reaching thousands of Levittown and neighboring community residents.  “Thank You” letters are also sent from the Division Avenue High School PTSA to all donors and can be displayed to let the community know you support Levittown students.

We have attached our IRS Letter of Determination and supporting documentation, certifying our non-profit 501(c)(3) status, for your reference.
