The overall purpose of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
We have multiple communities that meet with the district to ensure the health, safety and quality education of all of our students. We sponsor assemblies, art programs, workshops and events in the building.

We also host an annual "Sweeps" event, the proceeds of which provides an award to all student applicants that meet specified academic standards, and will be attending an institute of higher education, or have enlisted in the U.S. Military. All funds are distributed equally among all students that apply and have met the criteria. We firmly believe that all children should have the opportunity to further their education after high school.  For some, this may be the only monetary award they obtain.
