Duck Fiesta 2022
Carnival/Festival for Navarro Education Foundation, Inc.May 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Navarro Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-deductible entity that raises funds to provide supplementary programs for the Navarro Independent School District. Grants are awarded each Fall and have funded many innovative teaching programs as well as technological upgrades to classrooms such as interactive white boards, document cameras, iPod labs, and many other items that are enhancing the learning environment for the students in this community.
The Foundation’s primary fundraiser is the annual Duck Fest (Fiesta 2022), which consists of a rubber duck race in a local creek and festival with food booths, entertainment, and free games for kids. We "adopt" ducks to people in the community, which are then numbered and then dumped into the creek on the event day, racing down the creek to our finish line. We are in need of items for prizes for our top 30 ducks finishing the race and hope that you will consider a donation. Any product you could donate would be very much appreciated. We expect an attendance of several hundred and would love to be able to list your name as a donor to this worthy cause.
Navarro ISD is located between Seguin, San Marcos, and New Braunfels, Texas, and due to the fact that there are few businesses within our district, all three cities are the destination for our residents' shopping and entertainment needs.
