Eat, Drink and Be Delish is an intimate dinner series presented by UKG. The event is a unique partnership between esteemed guest chefs working alongside up-and-coming students in the culinary arts to support Arc Broward. Arc Broward, located in Sunrise, FL serves 1200 children and adults with disabilities each year through programs like preschool, afterschool/camp, job training, and more. One of the agency’s flagship programs is the Entry-Level Culinary Arts Certificate program, where adults with disabilities can train for careers in the culinary arts.

At each Delish dinner, guests will enjoy an exquisite four-course menu planned and prepared by a guest chef. Working alongside these chefs are Arc’s culinary arts students. The chefs we invite to participate aren’t just the best and brightest Executive Chefs in South Florida. They also share our passion for using culinary arts to change lives and benefit the community. Each chef joins us for one of the Delish dinners, but the memories they create last a lifetime.

Eat, Drink and Be Delish dinners will take place during May of this year at Arc Broward’s new Andrew P. Barowsky Culinary Arts Center, home to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen. The space features a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. Students can learn and work in a kitchen similar to one they hope to work in after they graduate. Delish gives the students the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills while participating in a unique, unforgettable experience.

All proceeds from Delish will support Arc Broward’s critically needed services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and other life challenges. Since 1956, Arc Broward has worked together with the community to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to realize their full potential.
