Arc Broward’s mission is to transform the community by providing opportunities for people with disabilities and other life challenges to realize their full potential.
Donations will also support the over 1,200 children and adults we serve annually in the 20 Arc Broward programs for people with developmental disabilities and other life challenges. The Children’s Division operates a developmental preschool, a summer camp and afterschool program, an in-home parent training program, respite care, and speech, physical, and occupational therapy. The Adult Division operates three adult day programs including programs for seniors and individuals with serious behavioral issues. The Workforce Division provides state-of-the-art employment-focused programs, including Arc Works, a hub for job training, job search, and on-the-job training, and transitional pre-vocational program for high school students. For over 62 years, Arc Broward has worked hand-in-hand with our community, changing how people with developmental disabilities and life challenges are embraced and included. This critical work ensures that people with disabilities, not only live, learn, work, and play in their communities, but more importantly, thrive.
