I will be hosting the first Education & Enrichment Expo at Alton Central School.  This is similar to a show I hosted about 8 years ago.  Unlike science fairs, this Expo will showcase the passions and individuality of our students.  Kids from prek-8th grade can submit anything that they are passionate about.  This is not limited to the standard content areas such as the 3 R's and science.  If you like to cook, then submit a recipe and bring the dish.  Perhaps a kid likes to build with Legos, take photos, whittle wood, create music, or even do a standard science experiment.  All of these creative passions will be on display.  In addition to student projects, the building with  have many guests sharing their talents.  Families can visit a wide range of rooms to learn from NH Fish & Game, the local police, NH authors and photographers, our high school robotics team, and much more.  There is no cost, but a donation to support our school's End 68 Hours of Hunger.  Many local attractions have been contacted to donate passes as part of a raffle for the evening.  This money will go towards building a vegetable garden for our senior center.
