We are writing to you on behalf of the Ellenville Nursery School. Nestled in New York’s
Hudson Valley, our school was founded over 65 years ago as a non-profit teaching
facility for children ages 3-5 years-old, where parents could be partners in their child’s
early education. Parents help run the school on a daily basis and throughout the year
are responsible for fundraising to supplement our tuition. Our small school has grown
over the years through hard work, dedication, and the support of our nursery school
families, alumni, community, and business sponsors. The Ellenville Nursery School is a
501c3 tax exempt organization.
On December 10, 2022 we will be holding our biggest fundraiser of the year – our
annual auction. Due to the great success of our Online Auction in 2020 and 2021, we
will once again hold this event online. Items will be auctioned off throughout the
evening to raise money for our school. We are asking you to join in our efforts to make
the night a huge success! We understand that you are often asked and that you have
to make difficult choices in your charitable gifts. However, we would be very grateful for
a prize donation (or prizes) to auction or a monetary donation to help offset our costs.
We send every contributor an appreciation donation receipt letter for your tax purposes.
In addition, there will be other opportunities for acknowledgement in our press for the
event as well as on our social media sites.
With very deep-seated roots in a small community, our school has provided many
wonderful and cherished memories for hundreds of children and adults. We are proud to
offer a cooperative learning environment with talented and creative teachers, and we
hope to be around for many years to come through the help of supporters like you.
