We will be celebrating our 20th year at Emily's Place with a bigger and bolder Gala! Emily's Place provides long term housing which is critical for helping domestic violence survivors permanently escape abuse.  It is the "bridge" from a shelter, which typically only allows women to stay for 60- 90 days, to independent living, free of the barriers preventing them from achieving self sufficiency away from their abuser.  Our 24 month program provides a structured environment with direct support from house managers, case workers and counselors and access to programs available in the community.  Our program is not a quick fix and being accepted requires a 2 year committment.  Together we work with women to attain their highest personal potential through hope, faith and family.  We rely on individual and corporate donations to provide daily living expenses for each woman and their children.  We have 2 residential homes which house 8 families each.
