Emily' Place provides long term housing that is critical for helping domestic violence survivors permanently escape abuse. It is the "bridge" from a shelter, which typically allows women and their children a bed for 30-90 days. Our program offers a safe home for two years and focuses on transforming from dependent living to independent living, free of the barriers preventing them to achieving self-sufficiency away from their abusers. Emily's Place provides a structured environment with direct support from a staff of house managers, case workers, counselors and provides access to programs available in the community. At Emily's Place we help break the cycle of violence for women and their children through long-term transformational care that seeks to restore faith, hope and health.
